The Welford Riverside Caravan Park is adjoining to the beautiful Warwickshire village of Welford whose population is approximately 1200. The village of Welford has an attractive mix of timber, thatched, stone and brick cottage. St Peters Church, it’s lychgate and the neighbouring black and white cottages are very popular for people taking photos and are lovely pieces of history to take in during your stay in Welford.

Also in Welford you will find a butcher who, as well as meat, also sells fresh bread, pastries and vegetables. There is also a small village shop that is also an off licence and sells newspapers and groceries and there is also a hair salon. You will also be able to find a garage that can provide vehicle servicing and maintenance as well as offering fuel and car accessories.

The village of Welford has had a maypole since the 14th century and dancing still take place every year courtesy of the children who attend the village school. The village of Welford is home to three pubs, The Four Alls, The Bell Inn and The Shakespeare, all of which serve restaurant meals and are all open seven days a week.


Stratford is only five miles away from Welford Riverside Caravan Park and you have the option to walk or cycle along ‘The Greenway’ which is a route that will avoid all traffic as well as their being regular bus connections back to the park.
